We were overwhelmed in 2009 and 2010 with requests from all
over the world for this super popular product. We've considered
bringing them back since 2006, but the problem has been that like any stamping
process, it takes large commitment per order to justify the tooling costs. If
the market demands, and you are a shop interested in our remaking of this highly
demanded, only 4130 forged "shoe tip" design ever made, feel free to

we'll resurrect. It's not cheap, but no one can do it better.

FORMED CHROMOLY STEEL - SHOE TIP - BALL FULCRUM
The original PVS "OE Series" "Original
Equipment" 4130 chromemoly steel, "shoe tip" rocker arms for Chevy 350 (and
some 302 Ford) engines, follow two years of development, in optimizing the
MID-LIFT® technology to a shoe rocker arm. For classes requiring a
"stock type" rocker arm, the 1018 versions made in Elgin, Illinois
can't come close; including their Nitride coated versions sold by our
friends in Daytona. As usual, these rockers use MEI's Patent Pending geometry
face for easy, correct "Installed Geometry™".

This is the
rocker arm that revolutionized the "shoe" tip, Original Equipment "type" steel
rocker arm market. The only companies making anything comparable,
are using warmed over stock, 1018 or 1012 mild steel versions, with
band-aid heat treat techniques, that offer minimal surface life
enhancements, when the real cause is the alloy itself.
PVS uses 4130 chromemoly
steel we import from Germany, ship to our stamping facility, then
inspect and assemble in-house. Our "USA" PVS powder metal ball
fulcrums are made by the same vendor as Ford's 4.6 Liter rocker
arms, which are truly state-of-the-art in oil impregnated and
retained precision, that are designed to a radius we developed that
will NOT fit any other rocker arm.
